Abstract: There is a long history of free and open software created by and shared among communities of computer programmers. The scale, quality and significance of open source software has been steadily growing over the past three decades and it now a very important part of the software market. Eric Raymond will discuss the financial, legal, support and technology issues involving the business use of open source software.
