<event:abstract><![CDATA[Emergence of low power short-range wireless technologies, availabilty of
cheap and abundant storage, and enhanced multimodal interfaces for mobile
devices is an encouraging trend that further motivates use of ad hoc
networks. Ad Hoc networks are highly dynamic and thus serendipitous.
Getting prompt and reliable answers to queries in such environments is a
challenging problem. We present related work on trust, consistency and
location in peer-to-peer networks and conventional filesystems. We propose
an approach to improve the latency of queries, and their success rates in
ad hoc networks. Finally, we present initial results from our simulations
and discuss the pros and cons of the proposed approach.]]></event:abstract>
