Members of the ebiquity group organized the First Workshop on Pervasive Security, Privacy and Trust held on August 26, 2004 in conjunction with the MobiQuitous 2004. The workshop featured invited talks and presentations based on submitted papers that focused on providing security and privacy in dynamic, open and heterogeneous distributed information systems. Of special interest is the challenge of creating environments in which pervasive computing technology allows people, agents, services and devices to seamlessly interact while preserving appropriate security and privacy policies.
