Ebiquity faculty led an effort that resulted in an IBM Shared University Research (SUR) Award. UMBC was one of 27 universities selected world-wide by IBM to receive an SUR award, granted to institutions that are doing innovative research to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The award will be used to help establish a new high-end computing resource that will support research on autonomic computing.
