Online Privacy Statement UMBC ebiquity research group ("UMBC eBiquity") respects our visitors' right to privacy online. We hold your detailed information in confidence. Asking for your information We will sometimes ask visitors for personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address, occupation and other details. Providing us your information will simply help us offer information that we think you'd like to hear about. When you choose to give personal information to us over the Internet that we may request, we will endeavor to inform you how we will use the information. Personal Information Privacy UMBC eBiquity will take all appropriate steps to keep your personal information confidential. Those steps include limiting access to visitor information databases, communicating this policy statement to all UMBC eBiquity employees and establishing and enforcing penalties for violating this statement. UMBC eBiquity will not sell, rent, or give away our visitors' personal information to other companies for use in selling others' products or services. Cookies UMBC eBiquity currently uses session "cookies" on our site. Our cookies tag each visitor's browser with a random, unique number. The cookie does not disclose any personal information about the person using the browser but allows users to obtain customized information and/or to purchase our products.
