This paper describes our approach to assured information sharing. The research is being carried out under a MURI (Multiuniversity Research Initiative) project funded by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). The main objective of our project is to define, design, and develop an Assured Information Sharing Lifecycle (AISL) that realizes the DoD’s information-sharing value chain. In this paper, we describe the problem faced by the Department of Defense and our solution to developing an AISL System.
