Authors: Lushan Han, Li Ding, Rong Pan, and Tim Finin

Date: May 30, 2006

Abstract: Semantic Web technology enables us to specify metadata about things in the world; however, the metadata of the Semantic Web on the Web is also important for accessing online Semantic Web data. In this paper, we show how Swoogle collects the metadata from Semantic Web document to build a global picture of the Semantic Web. We also show the database schema that stores the metadata, and use an example Semantic Web document to explain how the metadata has been extracted and stored.
