Haibin Zhang

Haibin Zhang received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California, Davis, in 2014. From 2017 to 2020, he was an Assistant Professor with the CSEE Department, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, leading the Distributed Systems and Security (DSS) Laboratory. He is a Research Scientist with the Shandong Institute of Blockchain. His research interests are in the intersection of distributed systems, system security, and applied cryptography, particularly in the design and implementation of Byzantinefault-tolerant(BFT) distributed systems.
