Biography:
Randy Schauer is a Senior Software Engineer with Raytheon whose current primary role is that of webmaster for the US Army Research Laboratory Major Shared Resource Center. Besides his tasks in that arena, Randy works on a variety of other software development projects and is conducting research into the benefits of autonomic computing on HPC resources, initially mass storage systems. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Duquesne University in December 2000, and is expected to receive his M.S. degree (also in Computer Science) from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in December 2005.
