Biography:
Dr. Ryusuke Masuoka is a senior researcher with Fujitsu Laboratories of America, Inc. at College Park, Maryland, USA. He is also an adjunct professor of UMIAC, University of Maryland. Since joining Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. in 1988, he has conducted research into neural networks, simulated annealing, and agent systems. Results from all of those areas of research have lead to products from Fujitsu. Specifically, recent research on agent systems has paved the road to an agent system software product, INTERSTAGE AGENTPRO. After moving to Fujitsu Laboratories of America, Inc. in March of 2001, he has engaged in researches on pervasive computing, system security, and bioinformatics.
