The UMBC Information Technology and Engineering building iwas opened in the summer of 2003. It houses the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, the Department of Information Systems, the offices of the College of Engineering, the Center for Women and Information Technology and the Imaging Research Center. A history of the construction is available, with pictures archived several times a day from October 25, 2001.
