Abstract: Dr. Norman R. Augustine will cover STEM Education, research, and innovation as presented in “Rising Above the Gathering Storm” a recent report sponsored by the National Academies that discusses science and technology competitiveness.

The Celebration continues after the address with a number of events that includes a Department Reunion Reception hosted by the College, a Pioneers Panel and Dinner, an address by President Hrabowski, the lighting of the birthday candles atop the Library, and a fireworks display. More information will follow over the next several weeks.
