Frontiers of Multicore Computing

The UMBC Multicore Computation Center is hosting a free workshop on Frontiers of Multicore Computing 26-28 August 2008 at UMBC. The workshop will feature leading computational researchers who will share their current experiences with multicore applications. A number of computer architects and major vendors have also been invited to describe their road maps to near and long-term future system developments. The FMC workshop will focus on applications in the fields of geosciences, aerospace, defense, interactive digital media and bioinformatics.
