The vision of the Semantic web is to give the web a well defined meaning by representing the same in OWL and linking it to ontologies accepted commonly by standardization efforts. Most of the formatted data is today stored in the form of relational databases. We need to RDFize it in order to use this data on the Semantic Web. The data model behind RDF is a directed labeled graph, which consists of nodes and labeled directed arcs linking pairs of nodes. To export data from an RDBMS into RDF, the relational database model has to be mapped to the graph-based RDF data model. We go for a service oriented model to capture the necessary values we require to create a semantic instance. We have modeled our application as a semantic service for Task Computing. Also we have demonstrated the usefulness of our system in the domains of Task Computing and the Bioinformatics Grid Computing domain. Bio grid task computing environments are now able to access legacy databases and pass on tuples in the form of semantic instances. Also we demonstrated how Bio grid Computing can enhance the user experience of a bioinformatics researcher.
